One feature I would like to see is:

  1. scale RAM, Disk Space, Processors independently

    Currently if we need to scale...we need to go through upgrading to bigger VPS or dedicated server. It would be great if we can modify how much RAM or Disk Space or Processors we want independently and get charges accordingly. This helps meet the demands on those some occasions without having to upgrade and downgrade with too much downtime...

  2. Send SMS notifications of server problems.

    When my server goes down or becomes unavailable, I would like to be able to know about it wherever I am. I always have my phone with me, but I am not always at the computer or in a WiFi zone, or actively monitoring my web site.

    If we could be sent an SMS message, we could take some money-saving steps such as pausing our AdWords campaigns.

    I am sure it costs money to send SMS messages via the cell service providers around the world, and I would be willing to pay for that.

  3. Tipit for support engineers

    99% of support engineers proved to be highly skilled and very helpful.
    No offense but i would prefer to Thank them by sending them 5-10$ for each solving issue by PayPal to whatever account they nominate. It could be their personal account(preferred) or the account of the charity of their choice.

    Just a suggestion.

  5. Provide support for Certificate Authority Authorization (CAA) DNS Records

    It would be nice to be able to add these records for use with letsencrypt or other services like this. Instead of having to find a DNS provider it would be great if this record could be supported.

  6. Answer Support Requests in Under 3 Hours

    I've stayed with Liquidweb for many years due to the heroic support. It really was the best in the industry. Today, I put in my first serious request in months, and no answer for 3 hours and counting. I am renting a fully managed server for the support, help, and management. Delayed responses to support requests slow down an entire work day. Get back to doing what you do well Liquidweb, or I'll go to another company.

  7. Please improve the new support system

    I am find the new system vastly harder to use than the only one.

    It is hard to see any replies, when I do reply then obviously it is not seen by staff as no further action is taken. I have a ticket that has sat for 2 weeks with no staff response!

    You click on Open Manage which I assume is to do with opening and managing tickets and you are sent back to the main control panel.

    The emailed replies do not have any reply link and actually come from a non-liquidweb address with noreply as the user!

  8. Fix support ticketing system

    When you purchased WiredTree, you also picked up the absolute best ticketing system I'd ever seen (WiredTree's). The LiquidWeb's is slow, confusing and .. a mess.

    There is a lot to be said about clean, fast no-JS effects garbage.

    Clean, linear ticketing, and the ability to refer to old tickets (like, wth?)

  9. Option to pull a single PDF with all invoices of a given year (nice for tax season!).

    For tax season it would be great to combine all invoices (with details) into a single PDF. Either with each individual invoice in it, or an overview listed of everything charged in a given year.

  10. Make "Add IPs to Server" more obvious (I always have to hunt for it)

    When I need to request a new block of IP addresses for our dedicated servers, I log into manage.liquidweb.com and click and read and click and read and click and click and click... it is always so difficult for me to find the IP Request area. I think it should be under Networking. As it is, you have to go under Overview, then click the plus sign next to your server, then click Network, and finally you are able to request IPs. Completely hidden option.

    If you can't "move" the feature, at least put some instructions under Networking that tells…

  11. Webmail CNAME with ALL Features "Premium Business Email Hosting"

    Hi, After talking with LW support, as they state they get lots of complaints on this. I don't believe this is a available but it is very necessary that it is and as they sent me over here to write this.

    For a very long time we all have been selling "Premium Business Email Hosting" and we sell it with all the features including the "Chat via Webmail" as it gives us a one up on the office 365 and others we compete against out there.

  12. Authorisation of support tickets very frustrating

    Currently when I lodge a support ticket request via email, even when coming from my registered admin email account the system requires me to authorise the ticket / match it to my account by logging in and clicking on authorise
    This process only works abouthalf the time if you are lucky - other times it just says unable to authorise and you have to email back with your support phrase.

    And even when I create a support ticket from the link in my manage.liquidweb.com account, and I am logged in, it still requires me to authorise the ticket and sends…

  13. Please add OAuth Login specifically such as Google

    Using Offline Google Authenticator or Duo for two factor is painful, it would be nice if we can attach Google account (we have Google Organization account with Multifactor auth).

    Or otherwise, please improve Multi factor authentication in association with either Duo or other provider where you can have push, SMS based notification.

  14. Server Health Memory graph show only used memory

    I would find the server memory graph on the dashboard to be more useful if it could show the usage as reported by the "free" command under "-/+ buffers/cache". This is the memory actually in use by applications and doesn't include disk buffers.

  16. The ability to change my NAME and EMAIL in support chat

    It would be nice to change the NAME & EMAIL address in the support chat window instead of having them REAODONLY!!! Multiple people use our company account to contact support and it would be nice to be addressed as who I AM and not the account owner.

  17. Add cPanel Quick IP Address Unblock permission to Manage interface users

    VPS users who are not account owners but have access to the Manage.LiquidWeb.Com interface should also be able to unblock IP addresses as needed.

    Just experienced this issue and it was determined that as an interace user I didn't have this capability. This very useful tool should be available to all users that can access the manage server website.

  18. Priority Support Service

    Hi,

    Could we have some priority support services where things can be looked at on a high priority. Some business who mainly works with e-commerce model gets a high impact when services go down for even an hour. In my case it lasted more than 5 hours and the issue yet to moved to the team who are assigned to work on the tickets. It's a huge gap and I feel even business may be willing to subscribe for such services for a small fee (where you can limit 2 priorities in a month or so - just a suggestion).

  19. SSL implementation on Webmail

    SSL is becoming more an more important, we offer our customers white labelled email address with their domain name such as webmail.domain.com

    Clients are asking for SSL to be enabled on their webmail

    Just found out that we cannot enforce SSL on white labelled webmail addresses hosted with Liquid web and only way is to give the clients a https://webmail.liquidweb.services URL

    This defeats the purpose of white labeling

    Can this be looked into and implemented soon please

  20. Improve Feedback email and support FAQ

    New Account Feedback: In addition to setting up an account for my website I have also helped two of my clients. With all three the username/password combos for account manager and cPanel have been messed up. The special instructions tends to get ignored as well. In the special instructions I ask for a specific name for the home directory and that was missed twice and I/we had to follow up with a service request to have it renamed.

    There is no reason for the follow up phone call which seems…
