  1. It's really annoying when i create a new account with a serve and choose my hostname and then Liquid Web changes that hostname by prepending cloudvpsserver. I then have to create a ticket to get the hostname changed back to what I want it to be.

  2. I have always been nothing short of amazed at the level of customer service I receive at Liquid Web. It's clearly something the company cares about deeply and puts an extreme amount of effort into. That's why I think it's important for you to know that Nexcess (A Liquid Web Brand) is not even close to executing to Liquid Web's customer service level. I had a very basic trouble ticket request languish for 2 days without a response, and when I asked about it via chat I was told "The agent hasn't come in yet today". That's typically of a…

  3. SBS volumes are based in SATA disks and are a great product, but they would be much more if they allowed to attach SSD disks for production systems (as azure or amazon does)

SSD-based cloud drives would allow users to have on-demand storage capacity not only for backups, but also for production systems, something very useful, for example, for Cloud VPS's using on cPanel.

  8. I got a few client's requests for business email accounts.
How they can set an avatar or profile image to an email account? (Just like Gmail shows)

    Thanks

  9. We do all our certificates using Let's Encrypt now, which is important because we run a lot of sites and can generate them on demand when they are needed. But because of that, our load balancer cannot do anything more than basic round robin routing as it cannot decode the requests (our sites are full time SSL now).

So to support more powerful routing, we would like the load balancer to support importing certificates we generate using Let's Encrypt, perhaps some kind of API call we can call over to when the certificates are generated to install them on the…

  11. Email or Text alerts when sites go down on MWP hosting: I recently had a site go down for what was "supposed" to have been a PHP error caused by a plugin. The entire site instance was down and the tech had to "restart services" in order to bring the site back up. Since the MWP hosting doesn't currently send out warnings and the Manage interface showed the server to be up, running and healthy I had no idea where to start and since this isn't a WHM/CPanel environment I don't have access to the tools to restart services I…

  13. I have a 50 site plan which provides 200GB of storage. I run the LW MWP Tools plugin in order to monitor my server RAM, CPU, Swap and Hard Disk usage. I was at 88% hard disk usage and requested the breakout of any folder with more than 1GB. That showed the ./home/wraith folder was 32GB. In case you don't know the wraith folder stores all the visual comparisons for plugin updates. There should be no need for this folder to grow to this size. I think it should be auto deleted or overwritten after X number of days (3,…

  14. There are several locations where the implications of certain SSL related actions are not clear.
    1. When updating an SSL cert there should be text indicating that it is not necessary to generate a new CSR.
    2. When removing SSL Configuration the user should be warned that their IP Address could change. Rather than removing the old cert just use the old CSR to generate a new cert and paste it over the old cert.

  15. When buying an SSL certificate the interface has a checkbox for auto-renewing your certificate. However, this does not work in practice with CloudSites. Instead there is still a manual process to update the cert. This should be fully automated.

  16. If the system can pull a Live site to Staging and update deep URLs to the staging domain with what seems like flawless accuracy. THEN, there should be an equal Staging to Live capability.

The current "migration to live" process via the plugin is a massive train wreck.

What is the purpose of a Staging site if you cannot push it live with the same accuracy with which the Staging copy was made?? Why can't this go both ways? The lack of this capability is a major flaw that, for me, makes Managed Wordpress a worthless product for which my…

  17. It is very frustrating that the charges on my monthly corporate AMEX statement don't always match the invoices in my account, due to the way "revised invoices" are posted. Ideally you would simply charge the card for what is showing on the invoices! Very frustrating to work through this multiple times per year with our Accounting department. Thanks.

  18. We would like to be able to continue creating SSL's even after our monthly quota is used up. We understand that we will be billed for those, but still would like to be able to create and install them ourselves without having to bug your staff to do it.

  19. Kindly allow me to suggest a feature request? To have a plugin to WHMCS where if the domain is suspended for non-payment, the block access for ALL emails in that domain is automatically enabled, then, when the domain is unsuspended, they go back on. Doing it manually is fine for now, but automating this would be terrific. Thanks so much!

  20. For either manage.liquidweb.com or my.liquidweb.com, need the ability to create users with the ability to manage DNS for specific groups of domains.

For instance 1 user can manage DNS for one group of domains, while another user would have access to only manage DNS for another group of domains.
