Email or Text alerts when sites go down on MWP hosting: I recently had a site go down for what was "supposed" to have been a PHP error caused by a plugin. The entire site instance was down and the tech had to "restart services" in order to bring the site back up. Since the MWP hosting doesn't currently send out warnings and the Manage interface showed the server to be up, running and healthy I had no idea where to start and since this isn't a WHM/CPanel environment I don't have access to the tools to restart services I…

Support for Let's Encrypt in the load balancer configuration
We do all our certificates using Let's Encrypt now, which is important because we run a lot of sites and can generate them on demand when they are needed. But because of that, our load balancer cannot do anything more than basic round robin routing as it cannot decode the requests (our sites are full time SSL now).
So to support more powerful routing, we would like the load balancer to support importing certificates we generate using Let's Encrypt, perhaps some kind of API call we can call over to when the certificates are generated to install them on the…

Stop prepending cloudvpsserver to the hostname when accounts are created
It's really annoying when i create a new account with a serve and choose my hostname and then Liquid Web changes that hostname by prepending cloudvpsserver. I then have to create a ticket to get the hostname changed back to what I want it to be.

login should be simple
First off, my login is never saved, so every time I want to log in, I need to start from scratch.
So, I click login, and it leads me to a new page, which is already ONE step.
Then, I have 2 options "manage my account", or "continue browsing". Continue browsing to what? Bug in the new portal
In the new portal I click on "CloudSites portal".
Opens a warning window with two options.
The option "Continue to manage" doesn't do anything.1 vote -
The ability (again) to see individual site sizes in the control panel under "Usage by Account" when an account has more than one site.
For over a year now, when viewing Usage by Site stats for an account, it no longer shows the individual site's sizes. It only shows the three columns of db, SQL and bandwidth and not the size. The only size information that is provided is at the account level.
This is a BIG problem when a client/account has more than one site. Especially when one of the sites has an issue.
It appears that even you guys aren't aware of this change or issue, as when we chat with tech support, they all seem ti think that you can still…1 vote -

Hey all. Lately, I have been having some issues connecting to chat. I have resorted to either clearing cache or using another browser.
Just letting you know. Previously I never had this issue.

phone support is gibberish and login to chat gives no place to chat. Support is complete crap
Get a better phone system. Called twice and the audio was complete gibberish. Tried chat logged in hit chat which then tells me to login. Your support which used to be the best in the industry has turned to complete crap. Fix it

Note section with backups
often i make a change to a site like a major update or plugin. I run a backup first. it would be nice to be able to make a note under the backup on that page to note why i made the backup, etc. so if i need to restore later, I will know which backup I should use to restore.

fix phone number validation issue when creating a new client in cloud sites
what causes the issue:
1. creating new client
2. copy/pasted phone number from my contacts app (Mac Contacts). Pasted this (number obfuscated): (xxx) xxx-xxx
3. this resulted in validation error. I then tried editing the entry to remove the parenthesis, space, and dash. I tried formatting with only dashes, etc. but no matter what everything resulted in generic validation errorResolution:
I fixed the issue by manually typing in the entire phone number rather than pasting it. I’m guessing some sort of hidden character or unicode incompatibility must have occurred when pasting.My suggestion:
