Managed Wordpress Platform Users - Granular Permissions
Allow assignment of granular permissions to users in the managed wordpress platform. E.g. restrict access to only certain sites. E.g. for purposes of granting staging / push to live access to third party developers, while preserving security of other sites.
Thanks again for sharing this with us, Adam. We agree that this is an important feature and intend to make improvements to the user delegation and permissions systems in the future.

Yes, this is a good idea. Sometimes developers exploit your websites, same thing happened to me with my basketball blog and lost ranking of my post https://ballproguide.com/spalding-vs-wilson-basketball/

I see this and many features have been "planned" for some time. Are there any updates? I would like to see a Trello style roadmap so users can understand where we are in the process. It seems like Managed Wordpress feature development has become stagnant.

Completely agree with this. My clients are used to having the ability to login to their hosting to do restores, etc. and not having this is a big downgrade from WP Engine and Flywheel where I've hosted in the past. I've just moved here, am moving over 60 client sites, and some of them will definitely want backend access.

I would like to be able to provide role based access to the Managed WordPress Hosting control panels. Providing a user with access to only their website(s) would be a great feature to allow them the ability to manage their staging environment and access things like Access and Error logs.

It would make it much easier for me to host client sites with Liquid Web Managed Wordpress if I could assign granular permissions and limit access to specific sites. Love to see this feature implemented soon.

I need to be able to give my clients a login to the back end of just their site. Right now when I create a user, they can do anything they want through the whole system. This is not going to work for me long term, as I work with some technically savvy clients who will expect access to their settings.

I thought this idea was already here, but I cannot seem to find it.
I would like to give granular permissions at our Managed WordPress level. Currently, it's all or nothing. I would like to provide internal and external users access to one or two sites, not all 25.

Creating a user account in MWP gives that user access to manage all WordPress sites in my account. It would be nice to be more granular with permissions and assign a user to one or more sites within MWP.

Access to MWP Dashboard on a per site basis (for clients to access backups and staging) as well as additional FTP users for each site. In many cases restricting FTP access is necessary.

Like with the iThemes Sync, if LW could add a security plugin that adds 2FA and other features as standard. Would be a really nice touch. Security is a major threat on an individual level and anything you can do to raise the bar would be much appreciated.
