Enable Storm images to pull from Storm backup usage
If customers are already paying for Storm backup storage, why not allow them to use their storage allotment to create manual images instead of charging them twice (once for daily backups and again for the images)?

From a storage aspect that makes perfect sense. What we're referring to here is that while storm daily backups are automatically pruned, your pre-paid backup budget could be applied to either manual images or daily storm backups. A customer could buy a 500 GB backup bucket and whatever they don't use towards manual images, the daily storm system would use.

Hello,
One of the big reasons we do not mix these is because the daily backups rotate out and are forever destroyed, where one of the features for images is that you can keep them for as long as you would like so that would can always have a restore point to one specific time. As a disaster recovery tool, you would not want that to be "aged out" and removed by automation.
