Hello!

I spoke to our Service Delivery team and they are currently working on a CentOS 8 kick however it is not yet complete. Once that is done, this OS will be available as a standard option. However, many of the server control panels don't even support Cent 8 yet. According to cPanel:

"We have not yet begun work on this, and aren’t likely to until there’s something close to a release candidate for CentOS. While we can’t commit to a timeline, CloudLinux/RHEL/CentOS8 support will likely come in 2020." (See https://features.cpanel.net/topic/support-for-rhel-8).
